They obviously missed Sasuke’s adoration and regressive behavior and immediately emotional reactions in association with the name “Itachi”. It seems like they overlook the enormous impact the older Uchiha leaves on the younger one, how it defines him and how it drives him, much more than (I hate to say this) Naruto ever can.
